Handmade cup, thrown on a potters wheel and faceted while still wet to create an organic shaped but multi-sided design. The clay and glaze materials for these are entirely foraged in Northern California and minimally processed to allow the natural beauty to show through. This glazes are both made of granite, quartz sand, clay, and wood ash, but in different proportions. During the firing they melt and run together, creating a cascade effect. Medium: 3-3.5" tall and holds about 5-6oz Please note: due to the handmade nature of my work, shape and surface will vary somewhat from piece to piece.
